Alcumus appoints Group Sales & Marketing Director

Alcumus is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Baker as Group Sales and Marketing Director.
Steve has 30 years experience in delivering business support services, compliance and technology solutions to all sizes of organisations in EMEA, USA and South East Asia, and brings with him a long history of building successful sales and marketing teams, particularly in the compliance and certification fields.
In his role, Steve will take responsibility for delivering the Alcumus overall organic growth targets and for the line management of the various sales and marketing resources from around the Group.
Commenting on his appointment, Steve said: “The Alcumus Group are clearly moving towards becoming one of the major players in this industry, and I am greatly looking forward to having a significant impact in that success”.
Most recently Director of Barbour EHS, Steve was responsible for delivering online environmental and health & safety information and related consultancy services. His earlier experience includes UK Sales Director at British Standards Institution (BSI), Sales & Marketing Director at British Safety Council, and Sales Director at Connaught Compliance. In the late 1990′s, Steve spent two years in Singapore where he set up the business services outsourcing division of Fuji Xerox in twelve Asia Pacific countries, including China.
Steve is a past member of The British American Business Council, and retains strong links with similar organisations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
