Offshore services

There can be fewer workplaces which could be deemed to be as 'high risk' in terms of health and safety than working on an offshore installation. Thankfully, due to the stringent regulations in place and the expertise of the companies who are involved in the offshore industry, major catastrophes are few and far between.

Occupational health is an increasingly big issue on platforms, vessels and FPSOs, and Sypol's consultants have had 10 years' experience in carrying out both qualitative and quantitative monitoring for the industry. All site visits are reported, providing a detailed account of the environment at the time of the survey and simple solutions to any issues that arise. Verification monitoring is also undertaken to ensure that the necessary actions have been completed and compliance is achieved.

All Sypol's Occupational Hygienists are fully qualified professional hygienists specialising in all aspects of occupational health. They have completed Offshore Survival Training, enabling them to work anywhere offshore in both North Sea and foreign waters.
