Every Environmental Management System (EMS) is unique to the organisation using it. We can assist with the development of an Environmental Management System by following a four-tier approach appropriate to the organisation's vision, practical requirements and budgetary constraints.
| Stage 1 |
A formal initial environmental review in order to assess current status with regard to a formal EMS Programme such as ISO 14001, EMAS or BS8555. A gap analysis report is generated indicating actions for compliance and impact / cost reduction opportunities |
| Stage 2 |
Assistance with elements of the programme to achieve full compliance and demonstrate visible and measurable benefits. This focuses on operational changes, implementing required documentation and helping the organisation to improve environmental performance and be perceived as acting more responsibly. The formulation of an Environmental Policy, Register of Legislation and Environmental Aspects complement this stage |
| Stage 3 |
Preparing organisations for their ISO14001 certification and/or EMAS registration audit by conducting a preparation audit in accordance with the Environmental Management and Quality auditing standards outlined in ISO19011 |
| Stage 4 |
Addresses the longer-term strategic activities to assist organisations with sustainable development. Services include Corporate Social Responsibility, Energy Management, Company Re-branding, Climate Change Adaptation, Breakthrough Projects and Organisational Change Management |
Working with consultants, experienced in a wide variety of business sectors, you can be confident that your Environmental Management Programme will be tailored to your business needs. The staged approach allows enormous flexibility and the opportunity to build on previous achievements. It also allows you to link into your existing Health, Safety and Quality procedures for a fully integrated approach.
