This one day course is designed for managers, supervisors and personnel who are responsible for Display Screen Equipment workstation assessments.

Obtain an understanding of the legal requirements and guidelines relevant to their role as a DSE assessor
Gain the ability to demonstrate the knowledge and practical skills required to evaluate DSE workstations and provide feedback / recommendations to DSE users and employers
Identify the causes of ill health and the risks associated with DSE use

Health problems associated with DSE - principal obligations under the Display Screen Equipment Regulations 1992
Minimum requirements for DSE - workstation set-up and use
Portable equipment and homeworking
Completing and reviewing DSE assessments

The above will be complemented by practical and interactive DSE assessment exercises
